About This Project
The GRU Eastside Operations Center has a unique green roof that features a variety of vegetation native to Florida. In addition to native grasses and flowers, this green roof is engineered to hold larger native vegetation such as trees and shrubs. This variety of native plants allows for efficient uptake of rainfall and reduces stormwater runoff.
