About This Project
The restoration of Ulele Springs was completed in 2014 as a part of the larger Water Works Park project in downtown Tampa. The restoration project was designed to recreate historical conditions of Ulele Springs and revive a freshwater resource vital to manatees and other wildlife. GSI features such as native plantings and retention basins help to provide clean water flowing into the Hillsborough River.
